The coveted top-ten spots by the best poker players world-wide have been announced for November. ESPN launched their November list, called “The Nuts”, which ranks the top 10 by a points based voting system. Contributors towards the voting are poker media journalists who watch online and live games, assessing the best players in the world over the month. They weigh in with the highly anticipated list of often familiar and sometimes breakout players.
This month, Phil Ivey grabbed the top position. Although we don’t know how much separates the slots, , this month Jason Mercier received 3 votes from the organization. A high number which could forecast Mercier toppling Ivey’s position sometime very soon. Vanessa Selbst appeared on the top 10 list in her debut listing at number 8, and the always popular Patrik Antonius stayed solid in position 10.
All competitors will be working towards remaining on the list for December and watch for newcomers who are hungry to grab a position.
