The votes are in, and congratulations to Sorel Mizzi for taking the most wins in 2010 tournament play. Mizzi won more than $3,507,000 in live tournament play, with 1,895,430 in total winnings for 2010. He also has grossed $3,099,557 in online tournaments.
Aside from the dollar signs, Mizzi won the esteemed BLUFF Magazine Player of the Year award. This is an honor from the top industry magazine which named him ‘Best Tournament Poker Player of 2010’. The 24-year old took it in stride and hopes to do as well in 2011. Sorel Mizzi led his competitors for the title with over 500 points ahead of the 2nd place finisher, Thomas Marchese with 1,257 points. Third place was Fernando Brito, coming in with 1/060 points. Sorel outranked both with 1,777 points for the year.
