PokerStars announced the newest game offered on their site, Poker Home Game. This offers players a way to play for fun with friends, or to set up a tournament with players of their choice.

Players can sign up for a PokerStars account and join the fun with either real or play money. Members invite players to join cash games, tournaments or casual friendly play with neighborhood buddies or friends all over the world. It’s easy to track the leader board standings.

After signing in, the organizer will go to the Home Games tab in the lobby and create a poker club. Setting up an invite to prospective players is easy and fast through Facebook, Twitter, email or internet messenger.

Each player would have to be approved for the request to join the game, and have the Club ID Number and Invitation code the organizer sends them. They also need to download the freePokerStars software.

PokerStars has created an innovative way for players to create the online live game they have been dreaming of with friends, mentors, instructors or workmates. This program has taken off and will continue to expand tournament play options in 2011.
