Nanonoko didn’t have a great weekend – especially compared to what his results have been in the beginning of this month. Over at PokerStars, he lost $196k to all those that were fortunate enough to be his opponent in the $25/50 NLHE games. That’s a loss of 40 buy ins in only 1 day and a sum that most people can’t imagine gambling away.
This massive loss was due to a pretty vigorous and long day of poker. Nanonoko played 20,342 hands on Sunday alone and took over twenty hours to complete. This is typical Nanonoko grind style, but who knew the results would be so dismal for this high profile player. The majority of these hands were played at the $25/50 NL games and total losses were over $234,000. He had a decent run at a $50/100 session where he was able to gain $27,000 of winnings to help counteract the poor performance of the day.
Sunday is just another example of how exciting the online poker tables can be. Nanonoko was seeing one of the best gains in the beginning of the month. Unfortunately, that seems to have crumbled to the ground after only one day of tough losses. It should be interesting to see how he reacts to this misfortune. Nanonoko won’t be changing his methods and the positive results should come right around the corner for him again. Some days are just not your day. Nanonoko definitely felt this hard truth upon him Sunday.
